Since 1950 you have known us as the leading recreation specialist providing programs with great games and abundant activities. Founded by Sid Rothbard, "Mr. Picnic ",Recreation Picnic Service offers an array of great games, teambuilding exercises, entertainment and unlimited activities for both children and adults to suit your needs and budget. The company was the first in the country to develop games for corporate outings.

Joan Rothbard is the current President of Recreation Picnic Service, a third generation event business and brings a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of corporate events. Joan is past President of International Special Events Society NJ North and has served on the International Special events Society Nominating committee. She also chairs registration for the Susan G. Komen North Jersey Race for the Cure.

In addition to her responsibilities at Recreation Picnic Service, Joan is an active member of MPI, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure as well as a speaker and motivator at numerous special event conferences.

To her credit Joan has received commodations from the Township of Livingston for the Olympic Torch Relay which came through Livingston in 1996 as well as the Township of Livingston Millennium celebration in 2000. Joan was responsible for providing activities and entertainment for both of these town wide events involving thousands of people and volunteers.

Recreation Picnic Service was the recipient of the International Special Events Society 2005 Dining Spaces Award which is a creative table top competition.

We specialize in picnic activities but we now do it all! We have proven this to over 10,000 companies. Recreation Picnic Service travels to the location of your choice or we can recommend a site to suit your needs.

Art 4 Charity

ART4CHARITY is a program to help your favorite charity Individuals will be given all of the art supplies needed. They then get to create their own piece of art which can be themed to the event. Now that their part is done we take it from there. The piece of art can then be donated to your favorite charity, local hospital or school. Your name as the donor will be recognized on the piece of art.We can complete the project on site or at a later time.CONTACT
