Joan Rothbard is the current President of Recreation Picnic Service, a third generation event business and brings a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of corporate events. Joan is past President of International Special Events Society NJ North and has served on the International  Special events Society Nominating committee. 

 

In addition to her responsibilities at Recreation Picnic Service, Joan is an active member of MPI, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure as well as a speaker and motivator at numerous special event conferences.

 

To her credit Joan has received commendations from the Township of Livingston for the Olympic Torch Relay which came through Livingston in 1996 as well as the Township of Livingston Millennium celebration in 2000. Joan was responsible for providing activities and entertainment for both of these town wide events involving thousands of people and volunteers.

In 2013 Recreation Picnic Service was hired by the Township of Livingston, to run their Bi-Centennial Picnic for over 3,000 people.

 

Recreation Picnic Service was the recipient of the International Special Events Society 2005 Dining Spaces Award which is a creative table top competition as well as the 2011 International Special Events Society Garden State Gala Award for best product/service for their ARTwithPURPOSE program.
